ยง  ABAP installation has finished

Before Performing JAVA installation we have to perform Post-Installation Activities

ยท        Post-Installation Steps:

ยท         T-Code: SLICENSE

ยท         By default there will be temporary license, so we have to download licenses from service market place

ยท         The default temporary license as screenshot shows

ยท         We have to download new license below screen shows the new downloaded license

ยท         T-Code: SICK

ยท         Configure Transport Management System

ยท         T-Code: STMS in case TMS is inconsistent we have to go T-Code:SE06 then perform post-installation activities then come back to STMS delete the TMS Configuration then try to configure the TMS

ยท         Here I faced one issue while configuring STMS, below are the screenshots of the error

  • RFC related issue

  • R3trans issue

รผ    The solution for above screenshot are:

รผ We have to maintain host-entries

รผ  Go to RZ10 and import profiles

รผ  Check RFC connections in SM59 under TCP/IP connections

รผ  Then upgrade tp.exe and R3trans file from smp

รผ  Finally STMS would be configured

ยท         Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 by RZ10 follow note: 2048519

ยท         Then perform local client copy from 100 to 001

ยท         Run SGEN

ยท         We have to create users from SU01

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

java installation:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ยง  Now we have to do installation for JAVA, again go to SWPM and install as per the below screenshot

ยง  Choose the package path for SAPJVM6.SAR file

ยง  We have to give the path for Java Component from Export Java (LABEL.ASC file)

ยง  Provide the SID

ยง  Provide DNS name as mentioned in ABAP system installation

ยง  Give the package path for Java component

ยง  Provide the password same as given in ABAP installation

ยง  As installed sapexe.sar saphostagent.sar igsexe.sar igshelper.sar sapexedb.sar in ABAP system, you have to install all those files for JAVA installations also, kindly find the below screenshots

ยท         Give the path LABEL.ASC in SAP ASE

ยท         Give the path for Java component as below screenshot shows

ยท         We have to enter the configuration parameter details for database system, mention the value and give next

ยท         Enter the connection parameters for the external ABAP system.

ยท         For the above error we have to give full authorizations for all the users which mentioned in above screenshot

ยท         As we did ABAP installation their it asked for SLD configuration we have to skip this in JAVA installation also, as SLD configuration is post-Installation activity of JAVA system installation

ยท         It prompts for parameter settings then give next

ยท         Installation is in progress

ยท         It shows the that JAVA installation has successfully installed, below screen shows

  • JAVA installation has finished
