outbound mail configuration

MAIL CONFIGURATION:

Pre Requisites:

è Get the mails host name and SMTP port number from client side

è Mail host name must should ping in public

Step 1: Enter The  T-code SCOT and Create the Node and maintain the below details

 

 

Step2:Click on security settings and maintain the SMTP authentication for this we need mail id and pwd

 

Step3:Select the address type internet and click on the set put * in a address type

Step 4: in menu bar click on  the setting under that click on default domain and maintain the domain name like gmail.com

Step 5: schedule a background job as per client requirement.

 

Step 6: Send a trail mail so01 t code & click on the New mail give the body of the mail provide the Recepient address and save click on send option

 

Step 7: In SOST tcode to check mail is comeing or not & check the status of the mail

Based on background jobs it will go target

For me BG in 10min after 10 minutes status changed
