ST02 - Tune summary

In T-code ST02 tune summary is used for memory management in the server.

Tune summary will gives profile parameters which need to adopt in your system for better performance.

Practical steps:

General method(long process):

1. Access T-code ST02.
 

2. click on Detail Analysis option from  menu.

3.Resultant screen.   Check one by one section to trouble shoot performance issues further.                                                                                                                              

4. Resultant screen will looks like below screen.                                                                                                                                                                          

5.if you found any entry of profile parameters with red colour, Need to take that profile parameter and open that parameter in RZ11 and check for minimum and maximum value of particular profile parameter.Based on your system situation need to change it value in RZ10 or RZ11.

Shortcut method:

instead of troubleshoot one by one section from the above point 3.

we have one short cut method based on current condition of system.

1. Access T-code ST02.

2.Navigate as show below.

3.if you found any entry of profile parameters with red colour, Need to take that profile parameter and open that parameter in RZ11 and check for minimum and maximum value of particular profile parameter.Based on your system situation need to change it value in RZ10 or RZ11.
